The Adventures of Betty Byrd

A Short Story

By Susie Christian and Grace Wheeler

Dedication

I wish to dedicate this undertaking to my first large bird, Venus, who was an eclectus parrot.  She was an exceptionally beautiful spirit and came into my life in 1987, but only lived about ten years. Venus inspired me to do many things back then and is still inspiring me today.
